Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha known by her stage and screen name Gugu Mbatha Raw. Gugu became famous after appearing in the BBC television series of science fiction called Doctor Who. Gugu gained a great deal of acclaim for her performance in the role of Tish Jones, who was the younger sister of the major character Martha Jones, in the show. Gugu's audience loved her spontaneity and she was soon getting ready for an extensive acting career. She has also worked on a number of other British television and stage shows to the present. The critical acclaim she has received is for her outstanding performance in "Belle" (2013), a British period drama, and 'Beyond the Lights' (2014) the romantic drama. She also appeared in American television productions like "Undercover", a Tom Hanks comedy film, as well as the series "Touch". Gugu Mbatha Raw performed the role of a leading character as a mistress and actress in the show "Nell Gwynn," performed by Jessica Swale. The critics praised Gugu's acting as well, resulting in her being a nominee to receive a prestigious award as the best actress. As a great honor for her contributions to drama, Gugu was appointed to be a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.
Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February 1975 in Livingston, New Jersey. Handler was the youngest of children in a family of six. The mother of Handler worked as a housekeeper and her father was employed as a used car dealer. Her mother arrived in America in 1958 after emigrating from Germany. In 1989, she was diagnosed with cancer, and passed away ten years following. Handler was raised Reform Judaism by her father, who was Jewish. Handler resided in a beautiful area with a great family. Handler moved to Los Angeles when she was aged 19 in order to pursue a career in acting. To support herself, Handler began to work as an actor. Handler, who was then at the age of 21 and decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time when she discovered her story telling skills. Handler's first job was with an acting gig in an all-female cast on the Oxygen channel's reality television show Girls behaving in a way that was terribly. It was comprised of hidden cameras as well as funny jokes. The show was broadcast between 2002 and 2005. The handler began to appear in other shows such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started her career as a journalist on The Tonight Show. Handler received her first big break when she hosted her E! Show in 2006. called The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran over two years. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend & HBO have shown Handler's stand-up shows. The show was announced as the host of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. The only woman ever to host the VMAs following Roseanne Bar.
