Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix showed an early aptitude to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting potential at the moment. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after the first time she tried out. Felix completed high school in 2003 and was signed by Adidas an agreement as an athlete in professional competition. Following that, she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting an all-time junior world record sprinting 200 meters at 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest to win the 200 meters in the world championships that took place in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 by beating long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently in the top three of athletes in each of her events.
